The original Moncton Industrial Park was one of the first industrial parks in the Province of New Brunswick. The park’s developer, Moncton Industrial Development, (MID), was chartered by a special act of the Province of New Brunswick. Its first venture was the Moncton Industrial Park.
Situated on the city's west side, Moncton Industrial Park was launched in 1960 with the acquisition of 100 acres of land. Today, the park encompasses an area of 600 acres with some 260 companies in place.
